Your Thoughts Must Be that of a King (King Jesus)

When I first saw this title, I put it up in my office. I thought to myself that when others come into the office, and see this sign, they are going to think that "she really thinks she is all that, doesn't she?" Well, I kept it up for a few days and when I would see the sign, I really thought it was a pretty heavy sign. You see I had it up like this at first, "Your Thoughts Must Be that of a King". Then several days later, the Lord gave me the idea to put "King Jesus" behind the phrase in parenthesis. That gave it a more humbling affect.

Several days later, on a Sunday afternoon, I was watching the movie "King Ralph". I thought it was so hilarious. This guy who played the role of king Ralph also played the part of Rosie O'Donnell's husband in the weekly television series, called "Roseanne". I believe that the Lord brought this movie back to me so that I can pull from it when talking about, "Your Thoughts must be that of a King, (King Jesus).

In the movie, Ralph some kind of a way won the opportunity to be the king of England. He was an ordinary guy taken off the street to be nurtured into kingship. I think about you and I. God taking ordinary people like us, forgiving us for our sins, writing our names in the Lambs Book of Life, coming to live inside of us by His Holy Spirit, and now making us extraordinary in Him. He says we are a peculiar people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation called forth out of the world to show forth praises unto HIM. I think about also that king Ralph had quite an adjustment to make and never seemingly felt like he fitted the role. (Maybe sometimes we may feel like we don't deserve some things. But be encouraged. It has nothing to do with you and I. It is all about God's love and grace). But in the end king Ralph gave up the throne and still wound up being in the royal palace. I think about the scene in the movie at the ball. He decided enough was enough. I am going to have me some fun and he really broke lose. Well, the guest who were used to being royal and elite in their character was quite, what one might call extremely sophisticated. But this was their upbringing and royalty has to portray a certain character. You can pull a lot from this movie and take it into many different directions when planning a sermon/talk. But I want to take it into the direction of, "Your Thoughts Must be that of a King, King Jesus". You are royalty.

Well, the way to find out how King Jesus thinks is to go the B-I-B-L-E. Amen. God's thoughts are always of mercy and righteousness. God's thoughts are always of strength and understanding. Never will his mercy and righteousness be broken. God's thoughts are always of faithfulness and because of His covenant with us, never will that faithfulness be broken. God's thoughts are always loving, never will His love be broken. And because of His mighty power; a power greater and more awesome than we can ever dream of, He is not condescending. His love for us is for more than greater than we could ever comprehend.

Therefore, our thoughts must be that of strength and understanding. They must be thoughts of love, mercy and righteousness. Whatsoever things are just, lovely, of good report, if there be any virtue, think on these things. Here are some confessions that you can confess every day, maybe even 2 or 3 times a day. And when you miss it, pick back up and start confessing them again. As these confessions become strong in your spirit, they will become your belief system and belief system becomes your thoughts. Then you will start thinking like our King, King Jesus. This is just a tip of the iceberg as to where we could take this but I just wanted to tickle your taste buds. God Blessss!!!

I AM A CAPABLE AND OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL, WORTHY OF HAVING A GREAT LIFE.

I AM A PERSON THAT TAKES ACTION AND MAKES CHANGES IN MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER.

I RENOUNCE AND REJECT AND REPENT OF EVERY WORD THAT HAS EVER PROCEEDED OUT OF MY MOUTH AGAINST YOU GOD AND YOUR OPERATION.

I RENOUNCE AND REJECT EVERY WORD THAT HAS BEEN SPOKEN AGAINST ME AND MY LOVE ONES. I CANCEL IT POWER.

BECAUSE I CHOOSE GOD'S WORDS FOR MY LIFE, I CHOOSE GOD'S WILL FOR MY LIFE AND I GO FORTH IN THE POWER OF THOSE WORDS.
